How to Enter » Beacon Beast Marathon - The Bodmin Way ! Including Beastie McBeastRace !

After our first five events many runners have said they would like to do it again, so we're now planning for 2027, along with Beastie McBeastRace (The Beastly Half !) on the same day.

Please be aware that Association of Running Clubs (ARC) who the event is registered with and so supply the Public Liability Insurance, have changed the minimum age that they cover, therefore we can only accept entries from people who are age 20 and above.

Any potential beasts entering the event should feel they are able to run the majority of the course.

As a guide 7 hours should be the very maximum time out on the course so the Marshals do not have to stay out in the elements for too long or give up an excessive part of their day, as we don't want to put them off volunteering for future events !

If we see a participant is giving their all we will support them to the finish. For the virtual London Marathon, one of our team found it was possible to very briskly walk some hills along the route and run the rest and still be well within 7 hours.

Please note: Before confirming payment you will see that the initial event amount payable will increase by a couple of quid for the SI Entries service charge.

Entries on the day will be subject to an additional £ 5 charge.
